Meet Our Founder
LaTrease Mills, RMA
Founder & Executive Director
With nearly 20 years of experience in women’s health and OB-GYN, LaTrease Mills founded The Sacred Flower after seeing firsthand how many women reached adulthood without the knowledge they needed to fully understand and advocate for their bodies.
She created The Sacred Flower to change that story earlier—equipping girls with age-appropriate health education, confidence, mentorship, life skills, and essential resources.
Today, LaTrease leads the organization in bringing these programs directly to girls throughout the Houston community.
